Autumn Chef Series

This Autumn we have invited some of our great chef friends to join us for our first ever Chef series. Over the course of six dates they will showcase their individual culinary styles and their trademark dishes. Further details on each of the dates below:

 

AngloThai – Saturday October 9th – Menu Price £110pp – Optional Wine Flight £70 – Karrek Restaurant

AngloThai marries traditional Thai recipes with seasonal British ingredients, complemented with a low-intervention wine program. This is delivered by husband and wife team – John and Desiree Chantarasak. John is of half British and half Thai heritage, drawing influences from both cuisines when creating dishes for AngloThai. John has a wealth of experience cooking throughout the UK, Europe, SE Asia and North America, most notably acclaimed Thai restaurants, Som Saa in London and Nahm in Bangkok. John has appeared on the Great British Menu representing his home region of Wales and has been twice shortlisted as ‘Chef of the Year’ by the Young British Foodie Awards. The Seahorse Restaurant, Mitch Tonks – Saturday November 6th – Menu Price £60pp – Optional Wine Flight £TBC – The Brasserie

The Seahorse is an award winning seafood restaurant in Dartmouth, Devon. They serve fresh local seafood cooked fresh to order over fire. Mitch has become one of the most respected and knowledgeable seafood people in the country and an acclaimed restaurateur, chef and author in the process. Kota Restaurant, Jude Kereama – Saturday November 13th – Menu Price £60pp – Optional Wine Flight TBC – The Brasserie

Jude’s creative menus utilise top-notch local produce which shines when married with the vibrant flavours inspired and developed as a result of his travels around the globe, his Cornish fishing village home and Chinese- Malay and Maori heritage.  Jude has been awarded Best Chef by the Trencherman’s Guide 2019 and is proud to be recognised by the Michelin Guide with a prestigious Bib Gourmand Award and the AA with three Rosettes. The Angel at Hetton, Michael Wignall – Tuesday November 23rd – Menu Price £110pp – Optional Wine Flight £70 – Karrek

Michael Wignall delivers food that wows on every plate and has just been awarded a Michelin star at The Angel. His ever-evolving style creates unique dishes full of flavour, underpinned by a contemporary, less formal approach to fine cuisine. Describing his food as ‘modern, technical and meaningful’, each element brings flavour or texture, enticing diners to experience new combinations and ingredients. Sally Abé – Conrad Hotel, London – Saturday November 27th – Menu Price £110pp – Optional Wine Flight £70 – Karrek

After cutting her teeth at the likes of Brett Graham’s The Ledbury and Phil Howard’s Elystan Street, Sally Abé rose to fame at The Harwood Arms where she was awarded a Michelin star, the only pub in London to have one. Friends of Guy – Saturday December 4th – Menu Price £60pp – Optional Wine Flight £TBC – The Brasserie

Join Guy and some of his Senior Chef friends as they host the final night in our Autumn Chef Series. It promises to be an exciting, engaging evening celebrating Cornish produce. Menu price £60.00.
