Autumn Chef Series
Our popular chef series is returning this Autumn. Bringing a host of fresh tastes and familiar faces to The St Enodoc. The chefs will showcase their individual culinary styles and their trademark dishes. This years line up includes:
James Cochran – 22nd October
Award-winning Chef James Cochran reflects his Caribbean and Scottish mixed heritage in his bold and exciting tasting menu. Following on from the start of his career at the fabled ‘Wheelers Oyster Bar’in Whitstable; James ventured to London where he trained under Chef Brett Graham at ‘The Ledbury, before moving onto renowned gastro pub ‘The HarwoodArms.’
In 2018,James won the BBC hitshow ‘Great British Menu,’ which followed TV appearances on The Breakfast Show and BBC Kitchen. Then in November, to add to his growing list of accomplishments Eater awarded him with the prestigious title of Chef of the Year. Also in 2018 he opened 12:51 in Islington, north London.
Tom Barnes – 5th November
Tom Barnes is known for his intuitive cooking style and appreciation for seasonal ingredients. His work as executive chef for Simon Rogan’s three Michelin-starred L’Enclume, one Michelin-starred Rogan & Co, Henrock, and Home by Simon Rogan has been instrumental to the group’s success.
Tom has won The Roux Scholarship and wowed on BBC2’s Great British Menu, where he won the main course at the final banquet. Tom has been announced to appear at various festivals this summer, including The Big Feastival and Wilderness, where he will cook one of the celebrated banquets.
Tom Booton – 12th November
Tom Boonton began aged just 15 at a local Essex restaurant, where he rose through the ranks and won ‘Chef of the Future’ at the Essex Food & Drinks Awards. In 2014, he moved to London and worked as a commis chef and sous chef before, becoming a head chef at The Grill at the Dorchester. He has also worked in restaurants in New York, Copenhagen and Iceland. People often say how young he is but he’s been cooking professionally for nearly 12 years.
MEATliquor – 19th November
Meat Liquor, who started in a trailer and now have 12 restaurants across the country, will be taking over our whole kitchen and restaurant. They will be running their own restaurant under our roof. It is guaranteed to be a fun filled evening.
